About solargraphy

About the photographer

Hello!

This site is about what to do with an empty cardboard box, a thin piece of metal foil and a generous amount of electrical tape. The obvious answer is, of course, "take pictures".

Any kind of container can be turned into a camera; sports bag camera, red pepper camera, airplane hangar camera, caravan camera, hole-in-the-ground camera, take your pick!

The simple rule is, if you can make it light-tight, then it can be turned into a camera.

On this site I have collected some information on and pictures of some my cameras, links, and a few hints on how to get started building your own pinhole camera.
